Austin

Rescue:

Austin and his friend Aiken were found in a cornfield during harvest. A farmer was using his
combine to cut the corn and had stopped midfield for lunch when he heard the cries of kittens.
Walking around to the other side of the machine, he discovered two kittens sitting on the blades.
They were anxious, frightened, and clearly relieved to be found. The farmer was able to easily pick
both kittens up and place them safely in the cab of the combine. He searched the surrounding field
to see if there were any more kittens but found none. Once the harvest was finished, he carried the
kittens in his arms back to the house, where his wife contacted a woman from a nearby village who
does cat rescue. From there, arrangements were made for the kittens to come into care.

Personality:

Austin is a super friendly and playful little guy who is always ready to be part of the action. He loves
interacting with people, enjoys playtime, and brings a lot of fun energy wherever he goes. Austin is
confident, social, and would be happy in a home where he gets plenty of attention and
opportunities to play. He would do well with respectful children who want an affectionate and
engaging companion. Austin is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome
him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
