Aiken

Rescue:

Aiken and his friend Austin were found in a cornfield during harvest. A farmer was using his
combine to cut the corn and had stopped midfield for lunch when he heard the cries of kittens.
Walking around to the other side of the machine, he discovered two kittens sitting on the blades.
They were anxious, frightened, and clearly relieved to be found. The farmer was able to easily pick
both kittens up and place them safely in the cab of the combine. He searched the surrounding field
to see if there were any more kittens but found none. Once the harvest was finished, he carried the
kittens in his arms back to the house, where his wife contacted a woman from a nearby village who
does cat rescue. From there, arrangements were made for the kittens to come into care.

Personality:

Aiken is a calm and gentle boy with a sweet, easygoing nature. He enjoys playing with toys at his
own pace and absolutely loves head scratches and quiet affection. Aiken is content to relax nearby,
soaking up attention without needing to be the center of it. His laidback personality would suit a
peaceful home, and he would do well with respectful children who understand his gentle ways.
Aiken is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and
keep him safely indoors.
