Rescue:
A message was sent to one of Pet Patrol’s volunteers explaining that a mother cat had been found
under a tarp with two newborn kittens. The woman believed the mother had been dumped, as she
had suddenly appeared on the property and was thin, frightened, and trying to protect her tiny
babies. The family brought the cats inside, provided warmth, food, and safety, and committed to
caring for them until the kittens were old enough to leave their mom. They asked Pet Patrol if we
could step in when the time came — to have them vetted, spayed and neutered, and eventually find
them loving adoptive homes. The kittens, later named Mischief, Mayhem, and Marley, began their
first weeks of life in a safe space rather than out in the elements, and now that they are older,
healthy, and ready for the next step, they have come into Pet Patrol care to begin their journey
toward forever homes where they will never again be left to fend for themselves.
Personality:
Mischief is a sweet grey tabby boy with the biggest, most expressive eyes that instantly win people
over. He has an adorable little chirp trill that he uses whenever he wants attention, and it’s
impossible not to respond — he’s just that charming. This boy is full of energy and enthusiasm.
Mischief loves to zoom around, play with his kitten friends, and then flop over for his favourite thing:
belly rubs. He’s a confident, happy kitten who enjoys being part of whatever you’re doing, always
eager to join in the fun. When playtime winds down, Mischief has a soft, snuggly side. His favourite
napping spot is a cozy hammock, where he settles in for the sweetest little naps, gently swaying as
he rests. Mischief is the perfect mix of playful spirit and cuddly charm, and he will make a
wonderful companion for anyone looking for an affectionate, lively kitten. He’ll thrive in a safe,
indoor only home where he can play, explore, and stay protected.
