Rescue:

Precious first came into Pet Patrol’s care as a young cat and immediately showed what a gentle
and loving soul she was. She was adopted into a quiet home where she lived a very cherished life
with her owner — just the two of them, completely devoted to one another. As time passed, her
owner developed health complications that eventually required hospitalization. He fully expected to
return home to her, but after six weeks it became clear that would not be possible. His greatest
worry was not his belongings or property — it was Precious. A close friend stepped in to care for
her day to day needs and reached out to Pet Patrol to ensure she would be safe and loved. We
gladly welcomed her back. Knowing Precious was secure and cared for brought him peace before
he passed. Now, Precious is ready to find a new forever home where she can once again be
someone’s loyal companion — offering comfort, companionship, and the same unconditional love
she so beautifully gave before.

Personality:

Precious is an incredibly loving and affectionate girl who bonds closely with her people. She is a lap
cat through and through — happiest snuggled beside you on the couch or curled up on the bed at
night. Precious follows her humans around the house, eager to be part of whatever they’re doing.
She has a soft little mew that she uses at mealtime, sitting patiently while she waits for her dish.
Brushing time is her favourite part of the day, and she still enjoys playing and chasing toys when
the mood strikes. Although it took her a little time to adjust to recent life changes, she is now a
happy, content girl who is ready to give her heart again. Precious is ready to be adopted into her
forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
