Rescue:
Misty arrived unexpectedly on the property of a family run manufacturing business right in the
middle of the city. The area is surrounded by factories, trailers, and busy roads — not a safe place
for any cat — with plenty of hidden spaces where strays can appear and disappear without notice.
As the weather shifted from warm summer days to cold fall rain, Misty was seen making her way up
the long gravel driveway toward the greenhouse and eventually settling in the backyard gazebo,
looking for shelter. Unsure where she had come from and concerned for her well being, the family
brought her inside. They hoped to keep her permanently, but Misty’s confident and outgoing
personality was overwhelming for their timid resident cats, leading to stress in the home. After
weeks of trying to find her a placement on their own, they reached out to Pet Patrol for help. With
her friendly nature and strong desire to be with people, Misty is now safe indoors and ready for the
loving home she deserves
Personality:
Misty is a petite, outgoing cat who absolutely adores her people. She is affectionate, friendly, and
very much a lap cat who will happily keep you company throughout the day. Curious by nature, she
loves to explore and will check every corner of the house to make sure she understands her
surroundings. Misty enjoys being the centre of attention and would be perfectly content as the only
cat in the home, though she can also do well with one passive, playful feline companion. With her
sweet personality, inquisitive charm, and love of closeness, Misty will make a wonderful friend for
someone looking for a devoted and affectionate companion. Misty is ready to be adopted into her
forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
