Shenzi

Rescue:

The “S Kittens” were discovered near a smalltown dump, abandoned in a cardboard box beside the road. A local woman spotted them and, realizing they were only about eight weeks old, reached
out for help. Though the kittens appeared clean and relatively healthy, they were frightened and
unsure, huddled together for comfort. She brought them to safety, keeping them warm in her
garage until a small-scale-rescuer could pick them up. Once transferred into care, the little orange
kittens quickly began to show their true, playful personalities—pouncing, tumbling, and exploring
everything in sight. Thanks to the kindness of strangers and a chain of caring rescuers, these five
kittens now have a safe place to grow, play, and prepare for the loving homes they deserve.

Personality:

Shenzi began life as a very shy, deeply worried little kitten, but with time, patience, and gentle
handling, he has started to blossom into a confident, playful boy who is discovering that the world
can be a safe and happy place. He adores chin scratches and will lean right in for more, purring
softly. One of his favourite games is batting ping pong balls around the bathtub, and he loves
chasing his siblings and toys throughout the house. When it’s time to rest, Shenzi stretches out to
his full length for a luxurious nap, happily hogging as much of the bed as he can. Sweet, curious,
and steadily gaining confidence, Shenzi is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will
welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
