Gabby & Gia

Gabby & Gia

Gabby & Gia

Rescue:

Two Pet Patrol volunteers were called to a traditional farm, where the owners explained they “had
more cats if we needed them” and generously offered to share them with us. Among the group
were five tiny kittens — Garnet, Goose, Glimma, Gia, and Gabby — all only around eight weeks
old. They were darting in and out of hay bales and slipping through the horse stalls, weaving under
hoofs as they tried to avoid being picked up. It was concerning to watch because one wrong step
from a horse could have led to serious injury. Thankfully, at such a young age, they were easy to
scoop up safely and place into carriers. All five kittens were brought into Pet Patrol care, giving
them the chance to grow up in safety, warmth, and comfort — far from the dangers of barn life.

Personality:

Gia and Gabby are a bonded pair who balance each other beautifully. Gia is bold, snuggly, full of
energy, and loves to explore. She enjoys every type of toy she can get her paws on and is always
ready to investigate something new. She loves attention, happily curls up on your lap for naps, and
will even let you hold her like a baby. She is vocal when she wants love and often starts purring
before she even reaches you. Gabby is the calmer sister — gentle, quiet, and sweet. She doesn’t
go looking for attention, but when you approach her she melts right into pets and affection. She
enjoys playing with Gia and a few select toys, but she’s content being more settled, observant, and
relaxed. Together they make a wonderful pair — one adventurous and one serene — and they
bring out comfort and confidence in one another. Gia and Gabby must be adopted together. They
are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and
keep them safely indoors.
