Rescue:
This poor boy has had a pretty rough start to the beginning of his life. One day, when the nights
were cold and the days were windy and rainy, he showed up on a horse farm unexpectedly. They
had never noticed him before but Liko certainly made himself known. He chirped as soon as he
saw a person and started rubbing up against their legs. As soon as they sat down he was on their
lap. He is an unusual colour. Some say he is a male calico, which is quite rare and others see him
more as a golden tabby with white also
rare. He is one of a kind for sure. The people who own the
rural property had enough cats and reached out to a local cat rescue to find a home for this
handsome boy. Soon he was on his way to Pet Patrol.
Personality:
Liko (his name means Buddy in Hawaiian) is super friendly and affectionate. He is all round a great
cat who loves people and gets along with everyone. While at the sanctuary he did well, but there
are too many cats here for his comfort. He just wants to play but he may do well as an only cat or
with just one other who can also be a buddy. Toys are always fun for him and rolling around in a
cardboard box with a catnip toy is a great way to spend the afternoon before lolling off into a sleep.
Liko is interactive, chatty, intelligent and cuddly. He is easy to pick up and carry, sleeps beside you,
snuggles in to watch a movie with you and greets you happily at the door. He is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
