Rescue:

Pet Patrol was notified about a litter of kittens spotted near a popular innercity
park, tucked away in
someone’s backyard. When volunteers arrived, the neighbours reported they hadn’t seen the
kittens in several days. The search was expanded to nearby homes and a local shop, where
volunteers noticed a hole in the fence connecting the two properties. That’s when they found Leia.
The shop staff had been feeding her, and she had taken up residence beneath a shipping
container. Although she had never been handled before, Leia quickly settled in once rescued and
surprised everyone by becoming affectionate and easy to cuddle. She is now safe, warm, and
adjusting beautifully to indoor life.
