Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a frantic call from a woman living on a farm in a small town. Her family kept
cattle, goats, chickens, and cats in their old bank barn, but recently both cats and chickens had
gone missing—likely prey to a predator. While searching the hayloft one day, she heard faint mews
and discovered a tiny kitten perched on a board, far too young to be without its mother. Following
the cries, she found three more babies had fallen through the floor into the chicken coop below,
miraculously still alive. With no sign of their mama and fearing for their safety, she reached out for
help. When no other rescues were able to take them, she drove an hour and a half to bring the four
kittens to Pet Patrol, ensuring they would be safe, cared for, and given the chance to grow up
healthy and loved.

Personality:

Meet Sprig, a tiny bundle of sweetness wrapped in the softest medium length
fur. She may be the
smallest of her litter, but she more than makes up for it with her big, loving personality. Sprig adores
being close — she’s happiest when cuddled up in your arms or nestled on your lap, purring softly
as she drifts off to sleep. Don’t be fooled by her petite size, though — Sprig has a playful, spirited
side too! She loves to explore, chase toys, and show off her curious nature before settling back in
for more snuggles. Her gentle heart and affectionate nature make her impossible not to love. Sprig
is looking for a forever home where she can be treasured for the sweetheart she is and kept safely
indoors, where she’ll bring warmth and joy every day.
