Koi came from a small village known for its local theatre and tightknit
community. When a kindhearted
family brought her into the city seeking help, it was clear she had come from humble
beginnings. The family’s 93yearold
matriarch and her daughter, both lifelong animal lovers, had
been caring for several cats on their rural property, doing their best to rehome them one by one. But
when it came to little Koi — shy, small, and in need of extra care — the ladies knew he needed
more help than they could provide. The family reached out to a local animal rescuer who then
reached out to Pet Patrol, hoping this sweet kitten could find a safe place to grow and thrive.
Though he arrived a little scared, Koi’s gentle spirit and undeniable cuteness quickly won everyone
over. He’s now safe, warm, and ready to begin his new chapter surrounded by love and care.
