Ina

Rescue:

Ina’s journey to safety began on a farm not too far from the Sanctuary. A young Mennonite girl received a kitten, Ina, from a close friend. Ina easily integrated into the family’s farm life and she grew to become a confident and playful companion. Unfortunately, shortly before reaching four months of age, the family noticed a growth on her eyelid. While seemingly harmless at first, the growth was getting bigger. Knowing this issue wasn’t going to resolve itself and that they would struggle to get her veterinary care, the family made the difficult decision to approach Pet Patrol for help. Ina was brought into our care to have the growth surgically removed, and now she’s thriving in a foster home waiting for a new family to call her their own.

Personality:

Ina is a happy-go-lucky girl with a heart of gold. While she may be a little skeptical of new places at first, she trusts quickly. In no time, she’ll be purring with her tail up every time she sees you. Ina has no problem approaching her humans for attention. She enjoys batting around crinkle toys and dashing through tunnels, and she plays well with the other kitties in her foster’s home. When it’s time to relax, she’ll curl up on a cozy bed or in a little hidey hole for an afternoon nap. Between farm and foster life, Ina has also gotten used to both children and dogs. Ina is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
