Rescue:

In a small town Smarties and Spritz were found taking shelter in a neighbour’s shed, which is
usually left open and used for storing equipment like a tractor and snow blower. The weather had
been extremely hot and humid, and the kittens were often seen darting in and out of the shed,
looking for shade and safety. It took some time and patience to rescue them, as they were wary and
quick to hide among the machinery. A humane trap was set, and eventually both kittens were safely
brought into care. There was one more little kitten roaming around, now alone and disoriented, and
successful efforts were made and now no one is left behind. Snickerdoodle is now reuntied with his
brothers Smarties and Spritz. They are safe, cool, and learning to trust in their new surroundings.

Personality:

Spritz has made incredible progress and has grown into a calm, loving, and wonderfully polite boy. Though shy at first and still startled by loud noises or quick movements, he now greets his foster family with happy meows and comes over eagerly for pets and cuddles. He loves wand toys and will bat toys around independently when he feels playful, especially when encouraged by his foster brothers—who he enjoys spending time with. Spritz is very gentle and sweet-natured, never unkind even when nervous, and he always uses his scratching posts like a perfect gentleman. When he’s relaxed, he melts into affection, purring, kneading biscuits, and stretching out comfortably near his people. With a calm home, patience, and love, Spritz will continue to blossom into a devoted companion who is so grateful for every bit of kindness shown to him. Spritz is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
