Rescue:

Destiny and her three kittens made their home in a locked backyard shed in a small village, slipping
inside through a hole in the back. For weeks no one realized they were there until the kittens’ cries
could finally be heard. The family had seen Destiny around before and assumed she belonged
elsewhere, but she was actually raising her kittens in secret. She was gentle with the children,
especially one little girl who adored her, but the parents wanted no part of keeping cats. They even
planned to abandon Destiny and her kittens at the city dump. Heartbroken, the little girl confided
this to her bus driver one morning, who immediately called her own mother—a small-town
rescuer.
Thanks to their quick action, Destiny and her babies were saved from a tragic fate and brought into
Pet Patrol’s care.
