Houston

Rescue:

These sweet kittens have quite the story! They were born to a mama cat in Woodstock while her
owner was in hospice. After his passing, the family was overwhelmed. His wife wanted to keep the
mama and planned to have her spayed, while the kittens needed a safe, loving space to grow. A
kind niece stepped in, bringing the mama and her eight kittens into her home. She lovingly raised
them for 9–10 weeks, giving them full access to the house, plenty of socialization, and all the care a
tiny kitten could need. They learned to play, explore, and enjoy life as happy, confident little cats.
When it was time for more support, she reached out to rescues across the area, but no one could
help. Thankfully, Pet Patrol was able to welcome them, and these kittens have been thriving ever
since! All are healthy, playful, and ready for their forever homes. They’re proof that a little love and
patience goes a long way.

Personality:

Houston thrives on attention and wants all the love, snuggles, and pets he can get! This sweet boy
will meow at you, jump into your lap, and prance around happily as if telling you all about his day.
When it’s time to nap, Houston prefers not to sleep alone—he’ll curl up in your lap, wrap himself
around your arm, or snuggle tightly with one of his siblings. More than anything, he just wants to be
close. While he enjoys playing with his brothers, Houston will always choose affection over toys,
soaking up every cuddle he can get. Because of his affectionate nature, Houston would love to be
adopted with his brother Hayden or with one of his other siblings. He will do best in a home where
he has a kitty companion to snuggle and share his days with. Houston is ready to be adopted into
his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
