Dice

Dice

Rescue:

Dice was trapped as part of a community cat effort in a small rural town, a place known for its quiet charm and close-knit feel. Like many outdoor cats in farming communities, he had learned to survive on his own, keeping to himself while relying on the kindness of those who noticed him. He was brought in for neutering and was almost ear-tipped to mark him as feral. Luckily, that didn’t happen—because while recuperating in a crate, it became clear he wasn’t feral at all. At first shy and unsure, Dice soon revealed his true nature. He leaned into gentle pets, purred with affection, and showed that all he needed was a little patience to trust. What once seemed like another wary street cat turned out to be a playful, loving companion who was never meant for life outdoors.

Personality:

Dice came into Pet Patrol’s care in a live trap, appearing more frightened than feral. Originally thought to be a barn cat, he showed almost immediately that he craved affection once he felt secure. At first, he was nervous, but soon he revealed himself to be a playful, loving boy. Though he still startles if he feels chased, Dice is gentle, clean, and endlessly sweet. He enjoys his toys, happily playing on his own, and has proven to be wonderful with other cats and even dogs. Once just another cat struggling to survive outside, Dice is now ready for the comfort of a forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
