Apricot

Rescue:

Apricot was first spotted wandering a remote farm at just four weeks old. The family had never dealt
with strays before, and since cats rarely showed up in their area, they weren’t sure what to do. They noticed her roaming but didn’t know where she came from. Knowing she couldn’t survive alone, the farmer began calling around to neighbors and rescues, even considering giving her away to another farm. But spaying was never discussed, and a rescue placement was the safest option. By the time Apricot was taken in, she had developed a severe upper respiratory infection—no surprise after long days in the heat, followed by cold, windy, and rainy nights. With proper care she quickly recovered, blossoming into a happy go lucky kitten who befriended others her age in the same rescue before coming to Pet Patrol.

Personality:

Apricot is a sweet and gentle kitten. She enjoys having space to herself, but will respond with a big purr when someone approaches with the promise of pets. She is also quite content to be carried around, and Apricot is often found being cuddled by her foster family (including kids). She loves to play with her siblings, often in big games of chase. When she is finally tuckered out, she will curl up with the other kittens in a cute pile of fluff. She is an easygoing kitten who would do well in any home. Apricot is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
