Rescue:
Oja had been coming and going on a country property for a few years, and the people living there
often wondered if she had kittens hidden somewhere. One day, she arrived at the back door with
them in tow, as if to say, “Here they are—please help us.” The kittens were in rough shape, their
necks bald, wet, and dirty. It quickly became clear they were suffering from botfly larva embedded
in their skin, leaving them looking sad and unwell. As soon as they arrived at Pet Patrol, the larvae
were carefully removed, and the kittens were given soothing baths and medication. With proper
care and treatment, their health turned around quickly, and soon they began to thrive, safe at last
and free from the painful burden they had been carrying.
Personality:
Oliver is the sweetest little puffball of fur, with a heart just as soft as his fluffy coat. The moment you
scoop him up, he melts into your arms, purring away like a tiny engine and making it clear that
being close to his people is his favorite place to be. He’s one of those rare kittens who seems
happiest when cuddled, soaking in every bit of love and affection he can get. His gentle,
affectionate nature makes him an instant favourite with everyone who meets him. That said, Oliver
also has a playful streak. He enjoys romping around with his friends, batting at toys, or darting
across the room in silly bursts of energy. Whether he’s chasing after a ball or entertaining himself
with solo play, his funloving
side shines just as brightly as his cuddly one. After playtime, though,
he’s quick to find arms to snuggle into, always ready for another round of love. Oliver is the perfect
mix of affectionate and playful, a little boy who will bring warmth and joy to his forever family. He’s
looking for a safe, loving home that will cherish him and keep him happily indoors.
