Rescue:
Poor little Gypsy spent about two weeks wandering alone through a neighbourhood, unsure where she belonged. She bounced back and forth between two neighbours’ back decks, sleeping on a small pad in the corner for comfort. Though she was being fed and picked up for cuddles, no one took the step to bring her fully into safety. The days were hot and dry, but when the nights grew cold she had little protection, sleeping in a sun porch that still left her vulnerable to predators. Thankfully, the sister of one of the neighbours stepped in. A longtime supporter of Pet Patrol, she was deeply concerned for Gypsy’s wellbeing and knew this little one needed more than temporary shelter—she needed a safe place to truly call home. With one phone call, Gypsy’s uncertain days on the street came to an end, and she is now safe, cared for, and on the path to the happy future she deserves.
