Rescue:
Walker’s journey to safety began in the hallway of an apartment building, where a kind person had
just dropped off someone in need. As she turned to leave, a flash of fur ran down the hall—a grey
and white cat darting past her. “Is that your cat?” she asked the man standing nearby. His reply was
shocking: “Yes, but not for long. I’m going to throw him out in the park.” Stunned and alarmed, the
volunteer immediately intervened, telling the man to give the cat to her instead. He agreed,
explaining that he was being evicted and moving to British Columbia, and despite trying, hadn’t
found anyone to take his cat in. Walker, it seemed, was moments away from being abandoned in a
public park. Thanks to quick action and compassion, Walker was brought to safety before that could
happen. Now in Pet Patrol’s care, he is safe, loved, and getting the second chance he so deeply
deserves. His past may have been uncertain, but Walker’s future is looking much brighter.
Personality:
Walker is a pint sized
whirlwind of joy with a serious case of FOMO (fear of missing out)—if
something’s happening, he’s sure to be right in the middle of it. Playtime is his passion, and he
chases after anything that jingles, crinkles, or rattles with unstoppable enthusiasm. A true social
butterfly, Walker plays wonderfully with other cats and would thrive in a home with a playful feline
friend to match his energy. When he finally runs out of steam, he’s an expert at the “crash nap,”
flopping down midadventure
for a well earned
snooze. Between bursts of mischief, he loves
curling up with his favorite humans for sweet cuddle sessions. With his perfect mix of spirit,
affection, and fun, Walker is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him
into the family and keep him safely indoors.
