Rescue:

Fizzy and Fanta came into our care under heartbreaking circumstances. Their former family was preparing to move and, during a sweltering summer garage sale, decided to “clear out” their pets along with the furniture. The two bonded girls and kittens were placed in a box outside in the heat, being handed out for free—no vet checks, no rescue contact, and no plan for their safety. Between the two of them, Fizzy and Fanta had eight kittens. By the time Pet Patrol was alerted, three kittens had already been given away, despite all of them having visible eye infections. We can only hope they received the medical care they desperately needed. Thankfully, we were able to bring Fizzy and Fanta to safety, and they’ve shown nothing but love and gratitude since.

Personality:

Fizzy is full of spark and sweetness! This confident girl adores human attention and will happily curl up in your arms for snuggles. Affectionate, brave, and curious, she loves to explore her surroundings and stands her ground with surprising courage, even around the big, hairy dogs in her foster home. When she’s done patrolling the windowsill or checking out the world around her, she’s quick to settle into a sunny spot for a cozy nap. Fizzy is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
