Rescue:

Fizzy and Fanta came into our care under heartbreaking circumstances. Their former family was
preparing to move and, during a sweltering summer garage sale, decided to “clear out” their pets
along with the furniture. The two bonded girls and kittens were placed in a box outside in the heat,
being handed out for free—no vet checks, no rescue contact, and no plan for their safety. Between
the two of them, Fizzy and Fanta had eight kittens. By the time Pet Patrol was alerted, three kittens
had already been given away, despite all of them having visible eye infections. We can only hope
they received the medical care they desperately needed. Thankfully, we were able to bring Fizzy
and Fanta to safety, and they’ve shown nothing but love and gratitude since.

Personality:

Fajita is a gentle soul with a playful streak. A little shyer than her siblings, she takes a moment to
warm up, but once she’s comfortable, she’s full of affection. Her favorite place to nap is under the
covers with her foster family, and she lights up when playing chase with her brothers and sisters.
With time and a little patience, this sweet girl’s cuddly side always comes out. Fajita is ready to be
adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely
indoors.
