Rescue:

Fizzy and Fanta came into our care under heartbreaking circumstances. Their former family was preparing to move and, during a sweltering summer garage sale, decided to “clear out” their pets along with the furniture. The two bonded girls and kittens were placed in a box outside in the heat, being handed out for free—no vet checks, no rescue contact, and no plan for their safety. Between the two of them, Fizzy and Fanta had eight kittens. By the time Pet Patrol was alerted, three kittens had already been given away, despite all of them having visible eye infections. We can only hope they received the medical care they desperately needed. Thankfully, we were able to bring Fizzy and Fanta to safety, and they’ve shown nothing but love and gratitude since.

Personality:

Fanta is a gentle and sweet natured girl with a quiet, loving presence. While she’s still a little shy, she enjoys being cuddled and petted once she feels safe. She may not always ask for affection, but if you pick her up and offer some gentle snuggles, she melts into the attention. A nurturing and attentive mother, Fanta has cared lovingly for her kittens and is now slowly blossoming into her own. She’s affectionate without being demanding and would thrive in a calm home where she can continue coming out of her shell at her own pace. Fanta is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
