Rescue:

This pretty girl, with her happy little chirps and gentle purrs, was found wandering a quiet rural
neighbourhood, armed with nothing but hope for a helping hand. She appeared in a man’s
backyard one sweltering day, and as soon as he opened the door to his garage, she followed him
right inside. Parched and hungry, she gratefully accepted food and water, then curled up in the
shade. The man posted on social media in case someone was missing their cat, but no one came
forward. Knowing she deserved more than to be left to fend for herself in the heat, with predators
nearby and no shelter, he reached out for help. Sadly, her story is all too common; friendly,
affectionate cats abandoned in the countryside, left to survive in dangerous conditions. It’s not the
peaceful life people imagine when they leave pets behind. It’s a daily fight to survive. Thankfully, this sweet girl’s story didn’t end there. She’s now safe, loved, and on the path to finding a forever
home where her gentle heart will be cherished as it always should have been.

Personality:

Alyce is a quiet, gentle girl who loves nothing more than being close to her people. She enjoys
cuddling, napping nearby during the day, and snuggling up close at night. While she has a calm
and affectionate nature, she’s best suited to a quiet home with adults, as too much activity can
overwhelm her. Alyce loves looking out the window and peacefully watching the world go by. She
would do best in a home where someone is around most of the day, as she thrives on
companionship and would be lonely if left alone for long stretches. Alyce is ready to be adopted into
her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
