Rescue:

Mau was found in a woodshed, calmly caring for her newborn kittens in a nest of pink insulation. A
man was drawn in by the cry of a kitten that had fallen deep into the insulation, too far for Mau to
reach. He gently rescued the baby and offered Mau a soft, safe carrier tucked into her chosen spot.
She accepted it right away, purring and settling in with her babies. Living near farmland and a
neighbouring barn with dozens of cats, Mau had clearly been seeking a quiet, safe space to give
birth. From the start, she was sweet, friendly, and trusting, just a loving mama looking for help.
Now in Pet Patrol’s care, Mau and her kittens are safe, warm, and ready for brighter days ahead.

Personality:

Maki stands out from his grey siblings with his unique markings and sweet, soulful personality. He’s
the smallest of the group and a self declared
mummy’s boy, often running to catch up with his
siblings and chasing his favourite orange ball with surprising determination. Though more cautious
than the others, Maki has a lovable “scaredy cat” charm, with expressive eyes and a perfect
Halloweencat
stretch that makes everyone smile. He’s a snuggler at heart and would love a home
where he can shine, whether with other gentle pets or as the star of the show. Maki is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
