Rescue:
Pet Patrol was first contacted after a man unexpectedly arrived at the sanctuary to ask for help. He
and his mother shared a home in a quiet village, where a pretty white calico cat named Jill had
shown up some time ago. She had one litter the year before, and now she had another, Juno,
Jewel, and Jasper, still in her care. Although they were living outside, they were wellfed,
given
soft beds and blankets in a doghouse, and frequently invited onto the deck and into the home to
play and visit. All were friendly and affectionate, and clearly loved. But as the kittens grew more
adventurous, climbing onto the roof and exploring farther each day, it became clear they could no
longer be kept safe outdoors. With allergies in the home and growing concern for the cats’ safety,
the family reached out. Jill and her kittens were soon brought into Pet Patrol’s care, where they
settled in easily and began the next chapter of their journey, one that will lead them to safe, loving,
indoor forever homes.
Personality:
Jewel is a sweet and affectionate kitten with a gentle spirit. She’s a little more reserved than her
siblings at first, but once she feels comfortable, she’s playful, snuggly, and full of charm. She enjoys
spending time on soft blankets and watching the world from a cozy perch. Jewel gets along
wonderfully with other cats and would love to be adopted with a sibling or into a home with another
friendly feline. Jewel is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into
the family and keep her safely indoors.
