Rescue:

A woman who does small scale
cat rescue in a rural village received a message from someone
who had found a stray kitten around 10 weeks old. The kitten was extremely thin, clearly
malnourished, and devoured food and water the moment he was brought inside. He had shown up
at her property quite suddenly without siblings or a mom. A blurry photo was sent to Pet Patrol, and
arrangements were quickly made to bring him into care. Once he arrived, it was clear this wasn’t a
tiny kitten, he was closer to five months old, just very underweight. Long and lean, Skittles settled
in quickly, clearly relieved to be safe, fed, and loved. Despite his rough start, he was friendly and
content from the beginning, happy to be rescued at last.

a sleek champagne coat and a long, athletic frame. He would do best in an active home where he’ll
get plenty of playtime and attention. Skittles is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that
will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
