Rescue:

Millie and Stella were rescued from a farm just around the corner from one of our volunteer’s
homes. The property houses cattle and has three large barns used for raising chickens—plenty of
hiding spots for stray cats and their litters. Helping these little cats is especially difficult there, as the
kittens are quick to disappear into the barns at the first sign of people. During a recent TNR (Trap
Neuter Release) effort on the property, Millie and Stella were brought in for spaying and recovery.
While both were shy, it was clear that Millie, in particular, had the potential to adjust to indoor life.
Her gentle nature stood out, and her sister Stella quickly caught up, and soon after their recovery,
they were brought into Pet Patrol’s care. Though their start was humble and hidden among the hay
bales and livestock, Millie and Stella are now safe and beginning the next step in their journey—on
the path toward finding a warm, loving forever home.

Personality:

Millie is quiet and very sweet girl. She will make tiny chirps for treats, attention, and love, she’s
always interested in pets. She enjoys spending her day playing and napping in the sunshine. Her
big green eyes will have anyone melting. She also has lovely, soft fur, and her tabby coat has some
orange hints mixed in to match her sister. This sweetheart is just so easygoing. Stella is just as
goodnatured,
though a little shyer than her sister. But if you give her some nice back scratches
(her absolutel favourite), she’ll open up in no time. True to her orange heritage, she’s very playful
She’ll find anything that jingles or crinkles irresistable. She’s very silly while playing with her sister Millie, watch
her dive and hop and race around the room while making small chirping noises. This
precious pair are ready for their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep
them safely indoors.
