Rescue:

The first sound was a tiny, frightened meows, soft but insistent. Drawn to the side driveway, the
woman and her grandson followed the sound until they spotted a small, dark shadow tucked deep
inside her husband’s parked truck. It had been sitting unused for a while, and with the cold, rainy
weather settling in, they knew they had to act quickly. With quiet voices, gentle coaxing, and the
irresistible scent of canned food, the kitten finally navigated her way through the maze of the engine
and popped out through the front grill. She was skin and bones, so hungry she could barely eat fast
enough. They scooped her up and brought her inside to safety. This was Bootsie, named for her
adorable white paws. Sweet, cuddly, and gentle, she seemed grateful for the warmth and affection.
But questions lingered: Where was her mother? Did she have siblings? Had she wandered far, or
were they still hiding somewhere nearby? No other cats were seen in the area, and it soon became
clear that Bootsie was on her own. Thankfully, Pet Patrol had a surrogate mom ready to take her in.
She’s been lovingly cared for ever since.

Personality:

Bootsie is a sweet and fluffy kitten with a calm, easygoing nature and a love for cuddles. She’s
comfortable being handled by children and is happy to be carried around, always ready to be part
of whatever’s going on. Playful and social, she enjoys chasing balls, wrestling with other kittens,
and engaging with her people. Whether it’s playtime or snuggle time, Bootsie is always up for it,
making her a wonderful fit for almost any home. Bootsie is ready to be adopted into her forever
home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
