Rescue:
A rural home owner thought it was just another day, until his dogs took off toward the portable car
shelter. As they barked at the flaps, something astonishing happened: at least seven or eight cats
burst from the tent, scattering into the fields. The man stood frozen. He hadn’t even known they
were there. Somehow, in a quiet corner of his property, a hidden colony had formed; desperate
cats clinging to the only shelter they could find from the freezing rains and moody spring
temperatures. With help from a kindhearted
woman running a small rescue in the village, Pet
Patrol was contacted. These cats had no warmth, no food, and nowhere to truly rest. Among those
we welcomed into care were Luanna, a tortoiseshell beauty and her two kittens, Lipara and Lox.
They were lucky, rescued before the worst of the weather, saved from the dangers of nearby
roads and roaming dogs. Now, they’re safe, dry, and surrounded by love. Their days of hiding are
behind them, and their chance at a forever home is just ahead.
Personality:
Lox is a mellow, affectionate kitten with an incredibly soft, fluffy coat and a belly that’s always ready
for rubs. He’s playful but gentle, and his favourite way to spend the day is wrestling with his sister
Lipara or snuggling beside her for a nap. He thrives on attention but is also easygoing and happy to
lounge around. Lipara is a sweet, playful kitten who strikes the perfect balance between affection
and fun. She’s the calmest of her litter, loves belly rubs and petting, and enjoys playing with her
siblings more than toys. Both kittens are gentle, easygoing, and great with kids. Lox & Lipara are
ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep
them safely indoors.
