Rescue:
Lolly’s journey began as a hungry stray found in the countryside, where she did her best to survive
on her own. She was first spotted in the fall, cautiously making her way to a kind person’s property
in search of food. Her maternal instincts likely drove her to look for sustenance, as she had kittens
depending on her. Though she was initially thought of as a feral mother, Lolly showed a gentle side,
gratefully accepting the food offered to her. Not feral at all but a frightened friendly cat down on her
luck. Over time, she adjusted to being cared for and revealed her affectionate and laidback
nature. This loving mama was finally brought into Pet Patrol’s care, leaving her difficult life behind
and taking her first steps toward finding a safe, indoor home.
Personality:
When Lolly first arrived in foster care, she was nervous and unsure of her new indoor surroundings.
With time, patience, and the help of confident resident cats, she has come out of her shell and
revealed her sweet, quirky personality. She now happily demands chin scritches—stomping her
paws and purring loudly in appreciation—and loves playing with squeaky mice and anything catnip filled.
While still a little shy, Lolly is affectionate on her own terms and continues to grow braver
each day. Lolly would thrive in a calm home with a friendly, confident cat to play and cuddle with.
Lolly is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and
keep her safely indoors.
