Munchie

Munchie

Rescue:

Minou first showed up at a storage unit facility, where one of Pet Patrol’s volunteers has a friend who works on site. He noticed the friendly little cat wandering the property, always nearby, always watching. She started following him around during his daily rounds, happily accepting food and curling up in the shop for attention before wandering off again. It didn’t take long for him to grow fond of her—and give her the name Minou. One day, she returned with a noticeably round belly. It was clear—Minou was pregnant. Without hesitation, he prepared a warm, dry shelter for her, knowing the wet and windy spring weather wasn’t safe for a mother-to-be. Sure enough, she gave birth not long after. That’s when our volunteer, a trained veterinary technician, stepped in. Knowing Minou and her babies needed more protection than a storage yard could offer, she reached out to Pet Patrol—and soon, this sweet little family was safe in our care. Minou has proven to be as loving as she is lovely. Clearly treated with kindness in her past, she is now ready to leave survival behind and enjoy the comfort and care of a real forever home.

Personality:

Munchie aka Munchkin is quite a character. He absolutely loves to wrestle and play with the other foster kittens. There is no toy he doesn’t like. If it moves, he is there even the dogs tail wagging fast, is pounced on. He is quite comfortable around the resident dogs and will give them a wash whether they want it or not. Munch loves being first with anything and everything. He hates thinking he will miss out on anything and so will follow you just to be sure he is there. He particularly loves to help make the bed. If you move him, he comes right back to make sure it gets done right . Munchie is best suited for a home where he’ll have another young cat for companionship. Munchie is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
