Rescue:
The bucket was wide, lined with straw, and just big enough to keep the chill away. Inside, several
kittens huddled together, watching with wide eyes as the Pet Patrol volunteers approached. Just
beside them, another bucket held a second litter; including a petite black and white named Honey,
who had drawn the volunteers in with her soft meows and pleading gaze. These kittens—lovingly
called the J litter—were born in a barn on a clean and well kept rural property. The family cared
deeply for the animals, but these kittens had been born into a life of uncertainty. Though old enough
to eat on their own, they were far too young to face the dangers of rural life, coyotes, cold weather,
and the constant threat of being forgotten. Thankfully, they didn’t have to. When the volunteers saw
the two litters nestled side by side, they knew none could be left behind. All ten kittens and Honey
were brought into Pet Patrol’s care that day. Now safe and warm, Jigsaw, Jenga, Jasper, Joey, Josy
and Jenny are growing stronger each day, no longer hidden away in buckets, but on their way to
loving forever homes.
Personality:
Jenny is a stunning little calico with the most unique markings—her playful, smudged coloring looks
like her makeup is adorably running, giving her a one of a kind
charm! She’s full of personality and
has the biggest purr in the room, letting it roar the moment she sees you! Jenny loves her people
and gives even bigger cuddles, happily curling up in your arms or on your lap for cozy,
heartwarming snuggles. She’s affectionate, playful, and always ready to share her love. Jenny
would be happiest adopted with one of her cuddle buddies Hannah or Hugh to keep the purring
going strong. She’s ready to bring her bold beauty and even bigger heart to her forever home! One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
