Rescue:
Dixie and her kittens are what we like to call a pot of gold here at Pet Patrol; an entire family of
stunning orange cats, not even a speck of white among them. For a few years, Dixie lived outdoors
near a small town, hanging around the same house. Locals looked out for her, and when she had
her first litter, a small rescue stepped in to help once the kittens were around 12 weeks old. But
Dixie herself remained elusive, never quite close enough to catch. That changed with her second
litter. With patience, time, and a humane trap, Dixie and all her kittens were finally brought to safety.
Now, she and her babies—Davian, Daphne, Dalton, Dani, and Devyn—are thriving in Pet Patrol’s
care. Safe, warm, and no longer at the mercy of the elements, they’ve settled into indoor life
beautifully.
Personality:
Dalton is pure energy and joy; the most active kitten in the group. He’s always in motion, running
laps, wrestling, and exploring every corner of the room. He’s very sweet and comes when called,
but once he’s in play mode, he’s nonstop.
Mouse toys are a favourite, and he’s vocal when he
wants attention. Dalton needs a playful kitten companion and would do best adopted with Dani or
Davian, his constant playmates. Dalton is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will
welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
