ADOPTION PROFILE

Hugh

Rescue:

Honey appeared one day at a quiet rural property, dainty and determined. The barn was very tidy,
the animals well cared for, including a colony of feral cats who lived peacefully on the land. But
Honey was different. She didn’t want to stay outside. She waited near the door of the house,
meowed softly, and longed to be let in. It was clear she wasn’t a barn cat, more than likely, she
had been dropped off, unwanted and left to fend for herself. When Pet Patrol volunteers arrived to
help her, they found Honey nestled near a large bucket filled with straw—and kittens. But not just
her own. A second bucket nearby held another litter, all tiny faces peering up with wide, unsure
eyes. Ten kittens in total, old enough to eat on their own but still needing care. There was no
question, they were all coming with us. Now Honey is safe, warm, and surrounded by love. She no
longer waits by a door wondering when her family will return, because a new, better chapter has
begun.

Personality:

Hugh is the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet! This gentle, playful guy has a big heart to match his big,
sturdy frame. He loves nothing more than chasing his sister Hannah or his buddy Jenny around in
playful games, always ready for fun and adventure. Despite his playful energy, Hugh is also a total
softie who melts into cuddles and loves being near his people. His affectionate nature makes him
an instant favourite, and he’s always ready to share his love. Hugh would be happiest adopted with
one of his siblings or friends, as he loves having a companion by his side. He’s the perfect mix of
playful and loving, ready to bring joy and snuggles to his forever home! One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
