Rescue:
A kind retired couple had been caring for a handsome outdoor cat for over two years. He rarely left
their lush backyard, which had a pond, gardens, and a heated shelter. One day, a petite grey cat
appeared, more cautious, but comforted by his presence. Soon, her growing belly made it clear
that kittens were on the way. When the time came, she chose not to give birth in the yard—likely
sensing the pond was unsafe for newborns—and instead moved a few doors down, tucking her
babies beneath a deck. With the help of neighbours and Pet Patrol volunteers, the mother cat and
all six kittens were safely rescued. Apple, Apricot, Almond, Amra, Açaí, and Aizen are now thriving
in foster care.
Personality:
Amra may be the smallest of her siblings, but her heart is just as big! She has the most unique,
beautiful grey coloring that makes her stand out—and her sweet, gentle nature makes her even
more special. Amra loves both playtime and cuddle time equally, happily chasing toys one minute
and curling up in your lap the next. She’s affectionate, soft, and easygoing, with a calm confidence
that makes her a wonderful companion. Amra also adores her siblings and would love to be
adopted with one of them, as she’s happiest with a familiar friend by her side. She’ll bring so much
love, warmth, and playful charm to her forever home! One that will wecome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
