Rescue:

Tails’ story begins with a family newly arrived in Canada, doing their best to navigate life’s
challenges. When the son had to leave for a week, he asked relatives to care for his cat in the
meantime. Unfortunately, the unspayed female escaped and became pregnant. It wasn’t the
outcome anyone had hoped for. She gave birth to two kittens—one was rehomed, and the other is
Tails, affectionately named for the fact that he was born without one. As the mother cat is now
pregnant again, Pet Patrol is stepping in to help. We will ensure the mother is spayed and
supported, and we will help find loving homes for her kittens—just like we hope to do for Tails.

Personality:

Tails is such a loving little guy. With his big, expressive eyes, he’ll watch you hopefully, waiting for a
moment when you might pause just long enough to give him the snuggle he’s dreaming of. He
absolutely adores attention—leaning into pets, rolling around happily, and chirping sweetly as if to
say, “Don’t stop!” He’s a gentle, affectionate boy who just wants to be close to his people and soak
up all the love he can get. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or bustling around the house, Tails
will be nearby, hoping for a cuddle and making your day a little brighter with his sweet nature and
soft little purrs. Tails is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into
the family and keep him safely indoors.
