Ollie

Rescue:

Ollie came into Pet Patrol’s care under urgent circumstances. A woman who runs a small cat
rescue in a rural town reached out for help after visiting a country property where strays had been
multiplying. Years earlier, she had assisted an elderly woman living alone in reducing a large colony
of cats, but without continued spaying and neutering, the population had slowly begun to grow
again. The property itself was littered with garbage and old farm equipment, offering dangerous
hiding spots but little true shelter. Ollie, just a young cat, was spotted navigating through the debris,
searching for food, warmth, and safety. It was no place for any animal, let alone a kitten just
starting out in life. Thankfully, the rescuer knew he needed help before his future mirrored that of so
many unneutered strays in the area. Ollie was brought to Pet Patrol, where he’s now safe, warm,
and receiving the care he deserves. His days of weaving through junk and surviving on scraps are
over, Ollie’s new life starts now.

Personality:

Ollie is a quiet soul with a tender heart, still learning that people can be kind. At first, he’s a little
unsure, he watches carefully, gives a cautious sniff, and takes his time deciding if you’re safe. But
once he decides you are, he leans in gently, soaking up affection with a look of quiet contentment.
You can tell he’s lived a tough life, but he’s trying his best to trust, and every little step forward is a
big victory for this sweet boy. Ollie absolutely adores other cats and feels most at ease in their
company. He’s often found right in the middle of a cozy cuddle pile, purring softly and soaking up
their calm energy. A feline friend would be the perfect guide for him. Someone to show him the
ropes and remind him the world isn’t so scary after all. Ollie is ready to be adopted into his forever
home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
