Rescue:
During a loud and wild thunderstorm, a little tabby face appeared at the window, soaked, scared,
and desperately trying to come inside. The family opened their garage door just enough for him to
take shelter, and in the morning he was fast asleep on a patio cushion. Over the next few days,
they put out food and water, and he never strayed far—often found lounging in the backyard shade
or tapping on the window to play with the family’s three young girls. Despite checking with
neighbors and posting online, no one came forward. He remained close, never wandering far, and
with no home in sight, Pet Patrol was contacted to help. Given his sweet nature, it’s likely he was
once someone’s pet, perhaps from a nearby barn known for cats. But wherever he came from, this
little guy had clearly chosen his people.
Personality:
True to his name, Happy is exactly that—a joyful, affectionate kitten who melts hearts wherever he
goes. He settled into the sanctuary instantly, exploring his new space with curiosity and delight.
Within moments, he was flopped on his back, purring away and asking for belly rubs. He’s gentle,
playful, and loves attention, especially from children. Happy is grateful to be safe and loved, and he
shows it with every head boop and contented nap. Happy is ready to be adopted into his forever
home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
