Rescue:
Luna was born to a momma cat named Boba and her journey to safety is one of love and
perseverance. Luna, a stunning pure white, longhaired
kitten with striking blue eyes, is identical to
her mom who was given away for free on Facebook with little explanation. The new owner noticed
soon after bringing Boba home that her belly began to swell and a vet visit confirmed she was
pregnant. She gave birth to five wee kittens, but heartbreakingly, three did not survive. Of the two
that lived one was fine and the other has cerebral hypoplasia. This is Luna. She is a pretty special
kitty. After a while though it was obvious that young family members had sever allergies.
Determined to keep Luna as part of the family, her owner tried everything, from constant cleaning to
using an air purifier, even shaving her luxurious coat, but nothing helped. Knowing Luna deserved a
chance at a better life, she made the difficult decision to surrender her to Pet Patrol. Now ready for
adoption, Luna is about to start a new chapter in a new home.
Personality:
Luna is an absolutely adorable girl with her fluffy white fur and brilliant blue eyes that sparkle with
curiosity. She was born with cerebellar hypoplasia, a condition that causes a charming wobble to
her head and an unsteady stance—but don’t tell Luna that! She doesn’t know she’s any different
and approaches each day with joy and confidence. In her foster home, Luna has settled in
beautifully with the other cats. She’s a happy go lucky
sweetheart who loves to play, even if she
occasionally tumbles midpounce.
While she may not be confident climbing cat trees, she finds
plenty of ways to have fun and show off her spunky personality. Luna is very much adored by the
people who care for her and continues to bring smiles with her sweet, resilient spirit. Luna is ready
to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely
indoors.
