Rescue:

Arturo’s journey has been a difficult one. Born on a farm where the cat population quickly grew out
of control, he was one of many whose job was to control the rodent population. The farm owners
did what they could—providing food and some shelter—but with more litters arriving every year,
things became overwhelming. When they reached out to Pet Patrol for help, Arturo was one of the
cats they mentioned, “the one with the lump.” Over time, a growth had developed on Arturo’s side,
something the farm owners noticed but weren’t equipped to treat. They reached out to Pet Patrol
through our barn cat program, and Arturo was soon rescued and brought into our care. He was
quiet and a little unsure at first, but even during his vet visits and surgery, he remained calm and
kind, showing just how gentle he truly is. Now that he’s healed and painfree,
Arturo is embracing
the warmth and comfort of indoor life. He enjoys soft beds, gentle affection, and the simple peace
of a full belly and a safe place to rest.

Personality:

Arturo is a handsome and gentle soul who’s so grateful to be safe and cared for. When he first
arrived at the sanctuary, he had a large lump on his side, but with veterinary care and a little
healing time, it was successfully removed and hasn’t returned. Now that he’s feeling better, Arturo’s
sweet personality is shining through more each day. He’s friendly with other cats, enjoys exploring
his surroundings, and is curious about the people who stop by to visit. Arturo is playful, active, and
clearly eager for a home where he can receive the love and attention he deserves. While he’s doing
well at the sanctuary, it’s a bit too busy for him to truly thrive. In a quieter home, with patient and
kindhearted
people, Arturo is sure to blossom into a wonderfully affectionate companion. Arturo is
ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him
safely indoors.
