Rescue:

Some small towns are lucky to have kindhearted
individuals who open their homes to cats in need.
One such rescue, operating out of a converted garage, could only take in so many—so when Will
appeared, they knew help was needed quickly. Will first showed up at a feeding station in a quiet
neighborhood. He was beautiful and wellgroomed,
but clearly afraid. Security cameras showed
him circling the house all night long, over and over again. Was he trying to find a way inside? Or
was he staying close to the food and shelter he had found? Likely both. With the help of a humane
trap, Will was safely brought indoors. At first, he was frightened and unsure of what was happening.
It was clear, however, that he wasn’t feral, he had known the comfort of a home before. But no one
came looking for him, no one answered the Found Cat social media posts, and he had no
microchip. Now in Pet Patrol’s care, Will is safe and slowly learning to trust again. We may never
know his full story, but he’s ready to start a new chapter.

Personality:

Will is the ultimate glowup
story! Once cautious and quiet, this curious boy has completely
blossomed in foster care. He now zips through the house with zoomies that rival a blender without
a lid, tosses his toys in the air, and plays a surprisingly coordinated game of fetch (yes, really—he
brings the ball back!). Will is a devoted shadow, following his people from room to room, always
settling nearby for a nap or a cuddle. He’s a total lap cat, especially at bedtime, when snuggling in
for the night is a must. This chatty little guy will greet you at the door, scold you for leaving, and talk
your ear off when he’s feeling extra conversational. He’s also earned manager status while
supervising his foster mom’s work from home
routine. Though shy with new people at first, Will
warms up quickly with kindness, play, and patience. He would love a home with another playful cat
to keep him company and humans who enjoy a talkative and loyal companion. Will is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
