Rescue:
This sweet boy spent the first months of his life living on the streets. At around nine months old, he
was brought into a local vet clinic that struggled to find a home for him. A friend of the woman who
would become his rescuer asked if she’d be willing to take him in—and she said yes. When the vet
called to say he might be euthanized due to a biting issue, she stepped in without hesitation. It
wasn’t easy at first, but with patience, love, and frequent feedings, he began to trust and thrive.
Now, several years later, she’s heartbroken to be surrendering Bruce to Pet Patrol. Due to an
upcoming move, she can’t bring him along and wants to make sure he finds a home that will
cherish him as much as she has.
Personality:
He’s a snuggly, chatty sweetheart with a purr like a motorboat. Always happy to greet you at the
door, he’ll often flop over for a belly rub or climb into your lap for a cuddle. He’s fine with being
picked up and even tolerates nail trims with ease. Curious and affectionate, he follows his people
around but is also content to do his own thing. He gets along with dogs, cats, and older children. He
does have a tendency to overgroom
or lick random objects when stressed or left alone for long
periods. With love, attention, and a stable home, he’ll be the perfect companion. He is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
