Rescue:

The bucket was wide, lined with straw, and just big enough to keep the chill away. Inside, several
kittens huddled together, watching with wide eyes as the Pet Patrol volunteers approached. Just
beside them, another bucket held a second litter—including a petite black and white named Honey,
who had drawn the volunteers in with her soft meows and pleading gaze. These kittens—lovingly
called the J litter—were born in a barn on a clean and wellkept
rural property. The family cared
deeply for the animals, but these kittens had been born into a life of uncertainty. Though old enough
to eat on their own, they were far too young to face the dangers of rural life—coyotes, cold weather,
and the constant threat of being forgotten. Thankfully, they didn’t have to. When the volunteers saw
the two litters nestled side by side, they knew none could be left behind. All ten kittens and Honey
were brought into Pet Patrol’s care that day. Now safe and warm, Jigsaw, Jenga, Jasper, Joey, Josy
and Jenny are growing stronger each day—no longer hidden away in buckets, but on their way to
loving forever homes.

Personality:

Jigsaw and Jenga are two playful brothers ready to explore the world, and Jigsaw always takes
the lead. He’s the first to greet you, the first to purr, and the first to pounce… often straight up into
the air, only to land right where he started! Full of energy and joy, Jigsaw loves toys, chasing his
brother, and cuddling in your arms when it’s time to rest. Jenga is politely reserved but just as
sweet. He enjoys pets and playful games but prefers all four paws on the ground, for now. He’s
especially fond of gentle chin scratches and will soak up your attention while you count his
adorable orange patches. Together, these boys are a perfect mix of bold and bashful, affectionate
and fun. Jigsaw and Jenga are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
