Rescue:

The bucket was wide, lined with straw, and just big enough to keep the chill away. Inside, several
kittens huddled together, watching with wide eyes as the Pet Patrol volunteers approached. Just
beside them, another bucket held a second litter, including a petite black and white named Honey,
who had drawn the volunteers in with her soft meows and pleading gaze. These kittens—lovingly
called the J litter—were born in a barn on a clean and well kept
rural property. The family cared
deeply for the animals, but these kittens had been born into a life of uncertainty. Though old enough
to eat on their own, they were far too young to face the dangers of rural life, coyotes, cold weather,
and the constant threat of being forgotten. Thankfully, they didn’t have to. When the volunteers saw
the two litters nestled side by side, they knew none could be left behind. All ten kittens and Honey
were brought into Pet Patrol’s care that day. Now safe and warm, the J kittens are growing stronger
each day, no longer hidden away in buckets, but on their way to loving forever homes.

Personality:

Jasper is a classic brown tabby with a playful spirit and gentle heart. He’s a curious kitten who
loves his wand toy, especially feathers, he’ll even growl triumphantly when he catches them! While
he’s not quite as daring as his brother Joey, Jasper still loves to play and explore. After a fun
session of zoomies or toy hunting, he’s quick to settle into a cozy cuddle on your lap. Jasper strikes
a great balance between active and affectionate, making him a lovely companion. Jasper is ready
to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
