Rescue:
In a tiny village, where homes are few and far between, a well known
stray cat gave birth beneath a
neighbour’s shed. The mother cat had long been a familiar face in the area, wandering between
properties, relying on kindhearted neighbours for food and shelter. This time, she chose the quiet
safety of the next door shed to bring her kittens into the world. As they grew more mobile, they
began venturing out and were soon spotted darting between yards and into a nearby garage where
the mother often fed. A dedicated resident worked tirelessly to rescue the little ones, managing to
bring three of them to safety. However, one kitten, still bonded closely to mom, remains just out of
reach, slipping back and forth between hiding spots. With limited resources in this rural area, help
can be hard to come by, but thanks to ongoing efforts, the three rescued kittens were brought to Pet
Patrol safely and are beginning their new lives. Momma and the fourth kitten will be in our care soon
enough.
Personality:
Sunday may have arrived a few days after her brothers, but she fit in instantly, and formed a
special bond with the resident dog, Millie. The two are often found side by side, showing just how
loving and adaptable Sunday is. She’s sassy in the cutest way, gentle by nature, and full of
curiosity. Brave and playful, Sunday is always exploring with wide eyes and a sweet heart. She
brings a calm joy wherever she goes and would be a wonderful companion in a home full of love.
Sunday is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and
keep her safely indoors.
