Rescue:

Shyla came into Pet Patrol’s care under urgent circumstances. A woman who runs a small cat
rescue in a rural town had reached out for help. Years earlier, she had assisted an elderly woman
living alone in reducing a large colony of cats on her property. Known for feeding any animal in
need, the kindhearted
woman had unintentionally created a safe haven for strays, but without
ongoing spaying or neutering, the population began to grow once again. Shyla, visibly pregnant,
was one of the cats still living on the property. With cooler weather settling in and growing concerns
about her safety, the decision was made to bring her into care as soon as possible. She arrived at
Pet Patrol ready to leave her days of uncertainty behind. Now safe and warm, Shyla and her kittens
Sunny, Sally and Sylvester are adjusting to indoor life with gentle support and care. Her quiet
strength and resilience are already shining through, and she’s finally getting the comfort and
security every cat deserves.

Personality:

Sunny is a confident, playful boy and the unofficial leader of his litter. He’s always the first to greet
you at the door with a loud, demanding meow, just to make sure you know he’s ready for attention
(or a snack). He loves to wrestle with his siblings and can turn anything into a toy, especially if it’s
soft, stuffed, or mouseshaped.
With his bold spirit and big personality, Sunny brings energy and joy
to every room he enters. Sunny is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome
him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
