Rescue:
Shyla came into Pet Patrol’s care under urgent circumstances. A woman who runs a small cat
rescue in a rural town had reached out for help. Years earlier, she had assisted an elderly woman
living alone in reducing a large colony of cats on her property. Known for feeding any animal in
need, the kindhearted
woman had unintentionally created a safe haven for strays, but without
ongoing spaying or neutering, the population began to grow once again. Shyla, visibly pregnant,
was one of the cats still living on the property. With cooler weather settling in and growing concerns
about her safety, the decision was made to bring her into care as soon as possible. She arrived at
Pet Patrol ready to leave her days of uncertainty behind. Now safe and warm, Shyla and her kittens
Sally, Sunny and Sylvester are adjusting to indoor life with gentle support and care. Her quiet
strength and resilience are already shining through, and she’s finally getting the comfort and
security every cat deserves.
Personality:
Sally is the shy and quiet girl of the group, perfectly content to enjoy the peace and quiet on her
own. She takes her time warming up, but once she trusts you, her sweet and affectionate nature
shines through. Sally loves to be held close, and if you try to put her down too soon, she’ll gently
meow in protest, asking for just a little more cuddle time. With patience and a calm environment,
Sally blossoms into a loving, playful companion who just wants to feel safe and adored.
Sally is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
