Rescue:

Blue came into Pet Patrol’s care after a family made the heartbreaking decision to rehome him.
Just six months old at the time, he had been rescued by their daughter, who found him as part of a
litter on a friend’s farm. From the start, Blue fit right in, playful, affectionate, and adored by
everyone in the home. But as time went on, their youngest child developed severe allergies. The
family tried everything they could to make it work, air purifiers, extra cleaning, medication, but
nothing seemed to help. Reluctantly, they knew they had to do what was best for both their child
and Blue. They searched for a rescue that could take him in, but being over an hour away from the
sanctuary, and with many local groups full, it wasn’t easy. Eventually, they reached out to Pet Patrol
and we said yes. Now safe in our care, Blue is settling in beautifully. He’s still the same sweet,
playful boy, and ready for a new chapter in a home where he can be the centre of attention.

Personality:

Blue is a calm, cool, and all around
wonderful cat. He’s easygoing, friendly, and gets along great
with children under 12 as well as new visitors to the home. While he’s a bit unsure around other
pets, simply because he’s never lived with any, he’s gentle by nature and could adjust with time
and patience. Blue is happy to be picked up and cradled, soaking up the attention like the relaxed
companion he is. He’s also playful and interactive, always ready to join in the fun with anyone
nearby.
Blue is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
