Rescue:

Callie and her kittens’ (Cher, Celine, Carlos and Cyndi) story is one of resilience and a mother’s
unwavering love. When the kittens were just six weeks old, a terrifying moment unfolded—Callie
darted across a busy road, and her babies tried to follow. Too small and too slow, they were
suddenly in the path of oncoming traffic. A woman, seeing the danger, ran out to chase them to
safety as cars rushed by. The kittens scrambled up the tires of a large construction vehicle parked
nearby. Three were scooped up quickly, but one panicked and slipped between the tight space of
two transport truck tires. Managing to free her, that little one bolted and disappeared. Miraculously,
after a few tense days and hawk sightings, she was safely rescued too. Callie is now safe and in
Pet Patrol’s care, along with all her kittens. She’s a sweet, brave mama who gets along well with
other cats, is unfazed by dogs, and stays close to the people who helped her survive.

Personality:

Cyndi is the fearless leader of her litter and the life of every party. This high energy
orange tabby
has a zest for fun and a flair for the dramatic—leaping off furniture, zooming through rooms, and
rallying her siblings for a game of tag. She’s confident, playful, and always up for an adventure,
especially if it involves chasing a wand toy or showing off her acrobatic moves. Cyndi loves to carry
her toys around proudly, hiding them in secret spots before launching into her next mission. Once
the excitement dies down, she’s just as happy to flop onto the floor in a sunbeam, paws stretched
out, completely at peace. Cyndi adores people and is always up for some lap time, especially if it
follows a good play session. She’s well socialized
with children in her foster home and would thrive
in an active household where she can be the star of the show. Cyndi is ready to be adopted into her
forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
